Our Group started the Employer of Choice initiative back in 2008 when we joined the Deloitte Best Company to Work For survey and took part for seven years. During this time O&L was awarded the No.1 Deloitte Best Company to Work For in the SADC region in the large business category for three consecutive years and in Namibia for four consecutive years.
After this success, we rolled out our first participation in the Great Place to Work® assessment and the GAP Organisational Alignment Diagnostic®. O&L herein assesses the culture of the organisation through an employee survey, the Trust Index© Employee Survey and a Culture Audit© Management Questionnaire.
Surveying our employees and people managers is an important way for us to measure how we are progressing on achieving our breakthrough Vision 2019 metric: Employer of Choice and how successfully we are bringing our purpose to life: Creating a future, enhancing life.
